It is nothing but a great privilege to serve as the President of the Sree Narayana Association of Philadelphia. As you know, the Sree Narayana Association of Philadelphia is one of the pioneer organizations of Kerala diaspora in the Philadelphia region. It was formed to propagate the noble philosophy and timeless teachings of Sree Narayana Gurudev. For more than four decades, it has been a guiding light in the lives of the devotees of Sree Narayana Guru in this great city of Philadelphia and its surroundings. Many individuals have committed their time and efforts for building this organization. I am forever thankful to the founding fathers and dedicated members of the SNA of Philadelphia for their collective vision, sincerity, and hard work. Unfortunately, some of them have left us forever and joined the divine abode of Almighty. I use this opportunity to pay tribute to their everlasting memory. We are very fortunate to be part of an institution bearing the name of one of the greatest sages of modern India. Sage Sree Narayana Guru envisioned a world devoid of dividing walls where all people could live together as brothers and sisters regardless race, relegion or ethnicity. Moreover, it was because of the guidance of sage Sree Narayana Guru, millions of people who were denied basic human rights for generations gained freedom and dignity.
As an endless source of inspiration, we seek Guru’s blessings for continuing our work in our adopted home.
